ACCREDITATIONS & RECOGNITIONS
Avalon University is a degree-granting institution located in the Commonwealth of Dominica. It is accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of the Commonwealth of Dominica, the national body responsible for quality assurance and accreditation of tertiary education institutions in Dominica.
The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has granted a permit to Avalon University that allows our faculty to teach our academic degree programs, and our school to operate an educational institution in the country.
Avalon University has achieved Institutional Accreditation by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of the Commonwealth of Dominica, the principal national body responsible for the accreditation and recognition of post-secondary and tertiary educational institutions, programs, and qualifications in Dominica.
Established under Act No. 13 of 2006, the NAB promotes quality and standards in tertiary education through institutional evaluation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. The Board also maintains international engagement through membership in the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
